The Annual Community Giving Campaign (ACGC) is the school’s top fundraising priority as it helps to bridge the over $530,000 funding gap (about $1500 per student) between what we receive from the government and our annual operating budget. Here are some key facts:
• Charter schools do NOT receive funds for land, facilities, or transportation.
• Funds raised from the ACGC enable the school to continue to offer smaller class sizes, assistant teachers in the lower grades, and enrichment programming.
• This year, enrichment programming will cost about $380,000.
• This year, debt service, utilities, and maintenance on our permanent facility will cost about $474,000.
To date, we have 84% family participation, 100% faculty/staff participation and 100% board participation. We are striving for 100% family participation!
